Portrait Ines Zehnder - A sanctuary for animals in Alsace

Ines Zehnder has dedicated herself tirelessly to animal welfare for over 40 years. Her sanctuary in Alsace (Global Animal Protection) is much more than just a shelter for rescued animals – it is a place of hope and compassion. Here, old, injured or abandoned animals find a loving home where they can live in dignity. Over the years, Ines has proven time and again that the welfare of the animals is her top priority. Her work goes beyond pure rescue – she gives the animals time to build up trust and ensures that they are cared for in a manner appropriate to their species. In addition to dogs and cats, she also takes in other animals that would otherwise have little chance of a good life.

Our foundation works closely with Ines Zehnder because we are convinced of her tireless dedication. She fights every day to ensure that animals not only survive, but can lead a dignified and happy life. Her work shows that animal welfare is more than a concept – it is a life’s work.

Portrait Monika Rekelhof - For the well-being of your animal - holistically and with heart

Every animal is unique – and deserves sensitive, holistic support. In my own practice, I combine alternative healing methods with a deep understanding of the needs of your animal companion.

As a trained veterinary practitioner, I combine sound knowledge with intuition and sensitivity. Conventional medicine and naturopathy do not have to be mutually exclusive – on the contrary, they can complement each other wonderfully. With attentiveness and experience, I support your pet in all phases of life.

Portrait Marianne Wild

Few things have been as important to me as learning the skills to help animals that don’t normally have access to therapy. That’s why I completed my training as a dog therapist(https://www.kleintiertherapie.ch/).

Providing dogs (and cats), especially those in animal welfare, with relief, helping them to regain normal mobility as quickly as possible, at least alleviating the symptoms of degenerative diseases and at the same time slowing down the progression of the diseases, but sometimes also simply giving them some comfort, are moments that make me unspeakably happy.

And if I ever need a second opinion or help in determining the optimal treatment method, my former teacher and current colleague Sandra Brunner, owner of the Hunde-Wohl practice in Köniz(https://www.hunde-wohl.ch/), is always available. In her practice, I can also use the particularly effective pool, underwater treadmill, laser and much more.
