Example 1:

Assumption of costs incl. placement Adoption Gnadenhof

  • Luna lives with her family in a house with a garden. One day, her husband’s job is rationalized; he becomes unemployed and is dependent on social support.

  • Expenses for dog Luna can no longer be paid.
The family moves into a cheap apartment in a block of flats …with a ban on keeping animals.
  • Luna ends up in an animal shelter. Animal shelter management contacts associations with brief documentation and some photos.

The association takes over – buys – Luna, i.e. it pays the accrued costs of the Tieheim. The association is looking for a foster family to take in and care for the dog for the time being, i.e:

  1. The dog will receive veterinary care (general condition, vaccinations, castration, depending on the state of health, additional blood work, x-rays, teeth cleaning, ear infections, surgical procedures, etc.). Naturally, the association will cover all costs incurred during this time.
  2. The foster family prepares a character report and checks the social skills of the animal entrusted to them. This serves as the basis for placing the animal with a family.
  • A new home is now being sought.
  • Once a suitable adoptive family has been found, the dog can begin its journey to happiness.
