Request for support with veterinary costs for dog Yoda
On October 6, Tierfreunde Hochrhein contacted our foundation with the following request:
“Our little dog Yoda came to us from a kill shelter on June 1, 2024. Unfortunately, she suffered a serious injury when she jumped from the second floor and sustained a fracture to her front paw, which required surgery. The veterinary clinic in Zurich carried out the operation and generously granted us an animal welfare discount of CHF 1,000. Nevertheless, the remaining costs exceeded our financial means, as we currently have to provide medical care for other dogs. For this reason, we asked for your financial support.”
Thanks to our additional financial help and the great commitment of dedicated helpers, the necessary medical care and nursing could be provided, which contributed significantly to her recovery. We are delighted to have accompanied and supported Yoda on her way to a better life.
